The Mathematical Algorithms and Modelling in Telecommunications workshop is a joint project of the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics and the YADRO company. In the workshop led by MIEM teachers and YADRO experts, HSE University students who successfully pass the selection process will look for solutions to pressing problems in the implementation of fourth- and fifth-generation mobile communications.

HSE and the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) have agreed to open a mirror laboratory, determining their key priorities to be joint activities in the fields of nature conservation, research into environmental behaviour and sustainable development, and territorial branding in relation to Indian regions. Researchers at the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences have studied the relationship between the changes in the bitcoin prices and the media attention to this cryptocurrency. The researchers examined the mentions of bitcoin in the media between 2017 and 2021 and built a mathematical model that revealed the strong relationship between media attention and bitcoin prices. The study was published in the Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry journal.
